Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were well decorated, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. They were designed nicely, comfortable, and super clean, even better than my bedroom at home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but there was a minor issue with not being informed about the key needed for the lights. The location was central, within walking distance to everything, and just 50 yards from the main railway station. The dining experience fell a bit short of expectations due to service issues, yet the overall stay was characterized by clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
I felt like royalty walking to our very spacious and immaculate room. The hotel was very comfortable, but I ended up paying extra money on top of my bill for gratuity and water we didn't have. The downtown location in Edinburgh was perfect for a truly relaxing stay.
For my wife's milestone birthday celebration, the hotel would have been great except for all the scaffolding outside the window, which slightly took away from the experience. The rooms, though different than the pictures without a view, had a cool vibe and were very comfortable. The attentive service, excellent facilities, and lovely staff added a touch of opulence to our stay. The central location was unbeatable, even though a bit due for a refresh. The dining was delicious, but a tad pricey for what it offered.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and felt very new. The breakfast was a great start to the day with a buffet and cooked options. The service was incredible, from car drop-off to concierge assistance. The location was convenient, though a bit noisy. The dining experience was excellent, offering a delicious array of food. Overall, a great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were lovely with great views and incredibly spacious, offering good closet space. While the cost per night was a bit high at £489, the overall experience was worth it. The service exceeded my expectations with top-notch assistance, excellent food, and a great location. The dining experience was excellent with plenty of choices, but the price of £29 per person per day seemed a bit unreasonable. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the central station, making it super convenient to explore all destinations. The facilities were impressive, and the staff was always ready to help with any request.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, although slightly dated, were spacious and overlooked the city, providing a nice view. However, I had to wait in the foyer due to an issue that hadn't been addressed, which was a bit inconvenient. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff and delicious food at the Bistro. The location was convenient, putting me right in the heart of Edinburgh with easy access to various attractions. The facilities were adequate but lacking in some aspects.
I had a cozy stay with lovely views at this hotel, even though the lack of an external view and the pricey rate were a slight letdown. The room was comfortable and quiet, offering a relaxing retreat despite the bustling surroundings.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, though a wee biscuit with the in-room tea would have been a nice touch. The location was convenient, being next door to the railway station, but the street noise was a bit disruptive. The service was fantastic, with attentive staff. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, with a disappointing breakfast selection.
